Sun Pyramid, Teotihuacan
All the archeological site of Teotihuacan was rebuilded, including this pyramid, the biggest one. It is notorious that the work was done in 1910, during the Porfiriato, name given after president Porfirio Díaz, that ruled the country for more than three decades. Through the architecture, each power elite reinforced their authority; the original one, building up this huge memorial, the modern one, re-building it from its ruins.
